"My mission is to align my work with others who share the same vision for a beauty industry free from animal cruelty, the exploitation of Women while at the same time caring for our planet"

1. Supporting Under Educated Women Within The Supply Chain

One of the areas of the beauty industry that is often overlooked is the minority workers, many of them Women behind some of the most precious ingredients that we have all come to love and cherish. Ingredients such as Shea Butter, Marula Oil, Argan Oil, Coconut Oil and Morninga Oil are often produced by workers who are not represented within a cooperative.

It is important to me that these developing regions also profit from the purchase of their oils. Read More About Our Ethically Sourced Ingredients

I also realize that these minority workers mainly Women need to educate the future Women of their communities. By helping to educate the girls of regions such as Morocco and Africa we can make a small but impactful difference in the communities and lives of these hard-working Women.

This year I have made donations to Education For All Morocco and CAMFED, both of these organizations focus on improving the lives of the most vulnerable girls and young women through the power of education.

Education For All

Education For All Morocco focuses on the girls of Morocco's High Atlas Mountain Region where education is not easily accessed. They build and run high-quality boarding houses for girls ages 12–18. This education enables the girls to seek opportunity outside of their rural area. The donation goes towards school books, stationary and a uniform.

CAMFED a pan-African movement, revolutionizing how girls’ education is delivered. CAMFED has created a model that radically improves girls’ prospects of becoming independent, influential Women.

2. Against Animal Cruelty

All of my products are certified cruelty-free by both PETA and Leaping Bunny. I feel these two organizations are most closely aligned to my belief in protecting the animals especially within the beauty industry.

In addition to our certification I formulate with vegan substitute ingredients in place of animal ingredients. To Learn more about our animal substitute ingredients CLICK HERE

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is the largest animal rights organization in the world, with more than 6.5 million members and supporters.  https://www.peta.org/about-peta/

Leaping Bunny

Eight national animal protection groups have banded together to form the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC). The CCIC promotes a single comprehensive standard and an internationally recognized Leaping Bunny Logo. https://www.leapingbunny.org

3. Environmental Sustainability

We have come to live in a world of excess on so many levels. Mass production of beauty products has led to unnecessary exterior packaging from plastic wrap on boxes to plastic jars and bottles to plastic ingredients. Not only is our earth overloaded with excess packaging, there are currently millions of un-opened and partially used skin care products in our landfills due to millions of products that went past their expiration date and have been thrown away in our landfills creating a huge burden on our ecosystem.
